Canada Makes & MGA Sign MoU to Accelerate AM Partnership

Canada Makes formalized the partnership with German cluster, Mobility Goes Additive (MGA), both organizations are thrilled to announce the partnership solidified through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Formnext 2023. This agreement aims to drive international collaboration in additive manufacturing by leveraging shared competencies, network and fostering close cooperation. The partnership between Canada Makes and MGA is set to connect member companies by sharing online platforms, increasing information and knowledge transfer. 

This MoU signifies deeper collaboration for both organizations, as it indicates a joint vision and dedication to accelerating the growth of the additive manufacturing sector. The signing ceremony, that took place at Formnext industry stage, underscores the significance of this collaboration, and invites industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts to explore the potential it holds. The excitement is building to further our connection with MGA through sharing information regarding the capabilities of both countries and create networking opportunities to further advance opportunities for our members.

Who is MGA:

MGA is the leading international network for industrial Additive Manufacturing with more than 130 members focusing on users and suppliers especially from the aerospace, railway and automotive industry but also from the medical sector. Through collective competence and open exchange of experiences with materials, technologies and processes on an equal footing, members help each other to realize the full potential of Additive Manufacturing more quickly: In more than a dozen Working Groups the members jointly lower hurdles that one company alone cannot overcome.
